The picture shows both the vertical and horizontal views of the towel. This is the left eye of Horus that he lost in a battle with his Uncle Seth. It was restored magically by Hathor and so now represents wholeness. On the right is the sacred cobra snake; goddess Udjet (The all-seeing eye). This is also a symbol of lower Egypt. On the left is the vulture Nekhbet, which is the symbol of Upper Egypt. It's holding the shen ring, a concept of eternity because of its never-ending circle. These two creatures together represent the entire Kingdom of Egypt.
